" Bella la stradina che serpeggia nella campagna" Massimo, dall'alto le cose sembrano diverse, ma quello che serpeggia nella foto è un argine golenale (secondario, non maestro) su quale c'è una carreggiata!
" per mio gusto la pozza dell'acqua ci stona un poco" Avrei preferito anche io che non ci fosse e che al suo posto ci fosse il pioppeto (che invece hanno tagliato questa estate), ma alla fine mi ha suggetito il titolo!

No, qui non si tratta confini, Beppe, perchè questo arginello si trova in golena e serve a circoscrivere una porzione di terreno piuttosto ampia tra lui e l'argine maestro (non si vede in foto) che viene eventualmente utilizzata come cassa di espansione per rallentare le piene più importanti del fiume: un terreno "sacrificale" insomma, da allagare all'occorrenza prima dell'ultimo baluardo (l'argine maestro)! La forma a zig-zag, oltre ad essere vantaggiosa per resistere alla pressione idrostatica (hai presente la curvatura delle dighe?), qui è stata adottata per girare attorno ad alcuni "bugni" (ovvero "stagni") che il Po ha creato durante la grande piena del 1951 quando ruppe questo arginello in più punti, scavando letteralmente queste pozze nel terreno. In fotografia si intravedono tra le "aiuole" di vegetazione sul lato destro dell'arginello!
