Remiz pendulinus sent on November 13, 2023 (17:45) by Airone. 12 comments, 199 views. [retina]

con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/400 f/9.0, ISO 1250, tripod. Lago d'Iseo, Italy.

Distanza circa 11-12mt set: R5 + adattatore + Tamron 2x bbbar mc7 + Canon 2x III + 500mm + lieve crop. I dati exif sono falsati perchè il vecchio Tamron 2x viene ignorato dalla macchina. Focale 2000mm Time 1/400 Diaframma f18 iso 1250. La scelta del secondo duplicatore (non Canon ma Tamron) è dovuta all'impossibilità di combinare 2 moltiplicatori Canon nonchè alla disponibilità e risaputa qualità ottica del Tamron mc7 bbar mc7.

Great setting, discreet detail, compact background, somewhat warm colors. In this locality the pendulums have just arrived and the plumage is not yet at its peak

I never expected to be able to use 2 multipliers :-D in series, and I had never done it before..... Clearly it is a solution that has big limitations, first of all the loss of 4 stops with the need to increase the ISO and the exposure time beyond the safe limits and have an excellent lighting, (full sun).
Thank you for your visits and comments.

The combination of multipliers is interesting, the result is very pleasant and the subject wonderful, congratulations.

Excellent result, in spite of the "multiplication of multipliers"! :-or
Congratulations Dario, the performance is still good, at least in this case!

With two multipliers the yield is very good, remarkable.

Let's say that it is acceptable with sharpen\denoise intervention even with photos taken in full sunlight. On the other hand, continuous AF with subject recognition works great despite the drop in brightness (f18).

A little guy who is always nice to look at. This year in my area you still can't see them, congratulations for your beautiful photo.
