È stato davvero un incontro ravvicinato ed emozionante quello avuto con questo ghepardo. Agli animali piace seguire le strade, perché vedono meglio e più lontano. Lo fanno spesso. Questa femmina, insieme ai suoi due cuccioloni, ha lasciato il letto asciutto del fiume che stava percorrendo in cerca di prede, per raggiungere la strada su cui noi ci trovavamo. È sbucata all'improvviso dai cespugli, davvero vicinissima, e ha “valutato” con un'occhiata se il tetto della nostra macchina poteva essere un buon punto di osservazione. Pochi indimenticabili attimi prima che decidesse di proseguire…
