Commenti e critiche sempre ben accetti. #Tramonto #Sunset #Acqua #Water #Autunno #Autumn#ColoriAutunnali #Foresta #Lago #Lake #Goldenhour #Nisi #FiltriNDG

Hi Luca, yes correct, it's Lake Anterselva.
Thank you for visiting and have a nice evening ;-)

The place is fabulous, as is the composition and autumn conditions you found!
I tell you honestly that for me the colors are oversaturated, especially the yellows and greens; they make the image too unnatural to my eyes. By rebalancing them, the photo would gain a lot. ;-)

Ciao, Stefano ;-)

Hi Stefano, what you describe is very strange... I also convert photos from ProPhoto to sRGB in PS when exporting to the web, but I don't have oversaturation: if anything, some colors go out of gamut and in sRGB they are a bit more dull.
Try to check the rendering intent, which is the preset that defines the strategy with which the colors are treated in the conversion. You should have set "perceptual" or "relative colorimetric" to have colors that are more "natural" and similar to those of the source color space; If, on the other hand, you have set "saturation" you may run into the problem you described. Try checking. ;-)

Great autumn glimpse, on the colors I agree with Alberto, normally you have the opposite problem in conversion, something is wrong.

Prova a controllare.
"

Ciao, Stefano ;-)

Great Autumn Glimpse

Hi Caterina, happy for your visit and appreciation!!
on colors I agree with Alberto, normally you have the opposite problem in conversion, something is wrong.

I think so too. However, I noticed noticeable differences on the various monitors where I viewed the photo. Obviously, we are talking about calibrated monitors with the same probe but with different ability to display color spaces.
For example, on mine, which is 98% AdobeRGB/100% sRGB, I see it saturated (let's talk about the exported file), while on another one capable of reproducing a much more limited % of sRGB (I don't know the correct value) it is much less saturated.
Thank you very much!
