Hi Xavier. I too have wanted to visit this place for a long time. I managed to do it yesterday with good weather and a nice "photographic" light ;-) ! The church is not open to non-professers of their religion (I think they are Mormons), but everything else is free to enter. Cleanliness, silence and the feeling of "well done" reign. But everything is a bit aseptic and far from our religious canons. For the church and other buildings there is a profusion of granite, Carrara marble, travertine... The visitors' pavilion, where there is a model of the church, gives the impression of a 5-star hotel!! They must have spent a large fortune to build this structure. However, if you do, it's worth a visit. Happy Sunday, Antonio Ciao Saverio. Buona domenica, Antonio |
