E' già trascorso un anno da quel 2 novembre 2022 quando “Furia”… l'ingegnere Mauro Forghieri… lasciò questo nostro mondo terreno per trasferirsi nell'altro dove mi piace pensare fu ben accolto dal Drake Enzo Ferrari… dall'Aviatore Gilles Villeneuve… e da tanti altri che nel tempo vissuto sul nostro piccolo pianeta erano stati partecipi nel mondo delle gare automobilistiche come piloti… costruttori… progettisti… ingegneri… meccanici… ed in tanti altri ruoli… e non solo nella Scuderia Ferrari. Nato a Modena il 13 gennaio 1935… Mauro si era laureato in ingegneria meccanica presso l'Università di Bologna nel 1959. Entrato in Ferrari ne divenne direttore tecnico per la Formula 1 nel 1962… incarico che mantenne fino al 1971… e poi successivamente dal 1973 al 1984. Con lui la Scuderia che si fregia del Nero Cavallino Rampante si aggiudicò 4 Titoli Mondiali Piloti e ben 7 nel Campionato Mondiali Costruttori a cui è doveroso aggiungere altri Titoli vinti nel Campionato Mondiale Prototipi e nel Campionato Europeo della Montagna. Dopo l'esperienza in Ferrari l'ingegner Forghieri fece parte… come progettista… del Team Lamborghini Engineering all'epoca in cui codesto entrò nel Circus della Formula 1 con il Modena Team. A seguire ebbe un'esperienza triennale nella rinata Bugatti a Campogalliano (Mo)… rimanendo poi attivo in altre esperienze motoristiche fino al termine della sua vita terrena. (c) lucianoserra.d
