Mi capita spesso di aggiungere grana agli scatti in b/n, non so perchè, forse richiama alla mente vecchi ricordi.
La foschia mi ha aiutato a rendere quell'effetto un po' sciupato del file.

I often add grain to the shots in b / w, do not know why, perhaps reminiscent of old memories.
The mist has helped me to make that effect a bit 'worn the file.

Beppe good and I really like the black and white (beyond grain or grain), for my personal taste, it enhances a component really interesting, great taste. Perhaps, says Catherine, there is some tonal transition a little abrupt, but not detract from the overall beauty of the scene.

Io intendo come passaggio tonale un po' brusco alcune zone in cui si percepisce un certo degrado della qualità del file, come una specie di pixellizzazione o vertical banding, come se avessi spinto troppo la mano in post.

La foschia a 300mm ha fatto la sua parte per rendere il raw assolutamente piatto e poi io ho fatto anche un bel crop perchè per fare questa composizione ed evitare gli elementi di disturbo avrei dovuto avere un 500mm.
In PP ho tirato parecchio il file per ottenere il contrasto che volevo e le conseguenze si vedono, se vedeste l'originale, completamente piatto.
Questo è uno di quei casi in cui inizio a pensare di comprarmi una full frame, magari la 6D, la 7D però mi piace parecchio e la 6D in confronto è un giocattolino...beh, forse esagero.
La 5D3 non mi piace, ha tutto perfetto ma il sensore...non ci siamo, piuttosto passo a nikon, ci ho pensato più di una volta.
Per spiegarmi meglio, se la 5D3 avesse il sensore della 6D l'avrei comprata già il giorno della presentazione.

Yes, you are right :-)
The haze to 300mm did its part to make the raw absolutely flat and then I also did a nice crop because to do this composition and to avoid disturbing elements I should have a 500mm.
In PP I pulled a lot of the file to get the contrast I wanted and the consequences are seen, if you saw the original, completely flat.
This is one of those cases in which beginning to think of comprarmi a full frame, maybe 6D, but I really like the 7D and 6D is a toy in comparison ... well, perhaps I exaggerate.
The 5D3 I do not like, but the sensor has everything perfect ... we did not, rather step nikon, I've thought more than once.
To explain better, if he had the 5D3 sensor 6D I would have already bought the day of the presentation.
Forza canon, we are at least a step back from nikon ... come on ... a little 'commitment!
