, 1/250 f/8.0, ISO 250, hand held. Napoli, Italy.

Hi Mary, thank you very much...
In fact, it is the only angle that allows you to shoot the faces of the subjects, who otherwise, while resuming the majesty of the work, would both remain completely covered.
It's always a pleasure to find you.
A warm greeting to you

These two horses tell us an ancient story of closeness between two peoples who, at that time, shared many problems and many excellences. But time patinates bronze, sometimes it corrodes it, and so it happens with history...
Great shot. Special mention to the pdr, the light and the details. Beautiful! If you had a focal length with just a few millimeters less, you would have included the last cm of the arm. But you can't have it all and you shoot with what you have at that moment.
Nice shot and nice story.
:-)

Welcome back Jo, it is always an infinite pleasure to have you as a guest in my simple snapshots and truly honored and gratified by the time you dedicate to it.
In the pdr, I preferred to emphasize the liveliness of the horse by sacrificing what little of the hand of its keeper, and the good detail, I think is thanks to the flash of brightening with the flash at 1/2 of the power.
In terms of historical periods, the value of works of this level took on an even greater value, given that the Russian Empire was a very backward nation in all fields.
Thanks again
