I almost stumbled on this whitetail fawn while photographing in a meadow. I knew the mother was nearby, so I took a few shots and left quickly.

Thanks for the comments. This fawn was not approached on purpose. I looked down, and it was almost under my feet. I had camera in hand, so I took the image quickly and left. I later observed the mother with her fawn. No harm was done. I will try to get an image of mother and fawn later if an opportunity presents itself. This image was taken on our property, so I hope I'll get a later opportunity.
