Ciao Ivan

Excuse my bluntness, but the shot does not convince me.

Personally I would have tried to compose leaving space to the right, shoot with a less intense so as to obtain the shadows less sharp and more delicate, the pdc f/1.8 is really small and you can not find a real focal point.

Thanks for the ride ... Why'd you leave more space on the right? To breathe more the flower? I composed this way instead because it gave me a sense of momentum and output of the flower ... I snapped at noon and I had no other possibilities, while the pdc you're right, I wanted to try to be honest and maybe the real fire is not there! :-)

I would have left more space on the right looking at the photo because the eye immediately falls on the flower and the empty space to the left becomes unnecessary, you can look down on the petals but has no room to appreciate the subject because it bounces off the edge of the frame, for I would try to give impetus to a cut flower type 16:9 always with empty space to the right ... ;-)
