, 10 sec f/13.0, ISO 250, tripod. Riomaggiore, Italy.

Who knows how much energy at that point at the top right...!!!!!
Bravo but how can you be sure that no lightning "chases" you....?

There is never certainty. When you feel that it could pull you close, you lock yourself in the car, sometimes I leave the tripod outside (when it doesn't rain) while when it rains, tripod on the front seat and window down ;-) In this case, it
took me very by surprise because the lightning before this, had pulled it in front of Monterosso (those lights that are following the coast, now in the rain)

Very very beautiful, it's always a sight to immortalize one while it unloads on the ground.
"Who knows how much energy..." Not a lot, a little, but a lot of power :-)
Well done, but how can you be sure that no lightning is "chasing you"....?
I recommend if you often go to do this type of experience to avoid (if possible) the conditions of unity :-) ' extremely high ground or rain. A particularly dangerous condition is when the ground is very wet and/or is stationed in correspondence with puddles of water.
In any case, wear antistatic shoes with thick rubber soles and high insulating power.
In this case, if struck, the lightning would only discharge on the surface of the body and would not penetrate inside it.
In any case, watch out, good luck and good light
:-)

"... I leave the equipment outside to shoot while I sit quietly in the car. If it's raining, get out of the window and shoot from inside the car (when possible...) ..."
Definitely a good method, congratulations again and good light (it's really appropriate to say it :-) )

Yes clearly I wrote it wrong, I meant the f1.8

The sigma 14 f1.4 is not produced with a Nikon F mount
