Very nice, if she had had the head more raised than 1cm she would still have been better ... I think :-D

Thanks Bigio! The other one I have is with the head horizontal, in the middle the R7 did what she wanted :-D :-D :-D

Beautiful pdr and framing. It seems to me, however, that the light conditions are not optimal and the image is little contrasted.

Thanks Atrox. Yes, it is a matter of light but above all of condensation at water level, not enough to create atmosphere but sufficient to reduce contrast and sharpness. I also intended to propose the image for the rendering as a whole.

Agree Fabrizio, but in my opinion it is overall a failed shot. I am sure that you will be able to interpret my comment correctly. Hello

Atrox for me the only note I can do is the position of the head, if it were slightly more detached from the stream would make it more pleasant, but in any case it does not become a failed photo. The light conditions that attenuate the contrast for me are almost always a plus, my humble opinion of course

Dionysius, in part agree, but in this case the subject appears excessively "off" (although perhaps it can be done better in the processing phase). Undoubtedly the position of the head is not the best, not only because it is too close to the water but also because it is oriented obliquely and you can not see the eye of the blackbird well.
Of course, mine is also a very modest opinion.

Atrox for me the criterion of successful shooting is very simple: if it makes sense and is consistent with the works towards which my photography is evolving. I removed shots from the gallery that were technically correct and had received good approval but were not consistent with what I do now, and kept shots that are technically also limited and receive feedback like yours, but represent what I mean. I have a fraction of the likes of a year ago, and a portfolio (I think) much more representative for better or worse. The path seems right to me. Appreciation as well as criticism, nourishment of self-esteem and reflection as appropriate, and in any case perseverance are welcome :-)
