Tirap - Arunachal Pradesh - India Canon Eos 30d + 100/400

Thanks Esaphoto
It 'a photo taken during a fantastic trip (which I would repeat but there are difficulties permnessi) during which I met some very special people. These older hunters are particularly fascinating and living in a society where traditional ways are changing rapidly, are the 'last bastion of a little known culture, and every time one dies you lose a heritage forever ....

Thanks Bosphorus
the 100/400 for portraits I do not mind at all.
After years of photographing mainly animals, this stat is one of those pictures that made me think that maybe I was led to another photographic genre.
The Wancho are a real spectacle and the next time we come back together .................

Thanks Fladane, Simocre and Sergio, too good!
In this case, the PP was more measured than other times because I did not feel there was a need to go further.

you are the headhunter! masterpiece!
I'm ashamed to say it ... but nitpicking ... the eyes are not aligned perfectly
seen that the Croop and the composition is perfect
the axis of the eye hangs a little to the left!

Thank you, Schirox, Catherine and Pisolomalu

And 'the original cut, in fact, looking closely at some' hanging, I do not know if he had his head tilted slightly or both for the 'shot but does not disturb and do not think is a problem ..

Thank you all!

I like to write and I especially like to tell and then, I think, showing photos of people and situations, that not everyone knows, it is always important to give some basic informazioone to better understand what it is .... If I, for example, I had not seen some pictures of headhunters and someone I had not explained what it was, I would have never gone ..... the same thing for when it concerns the Bonda: I saw a picture of their village and from that moment I thought that I would have to go ...................... ...

The trip had joined a friend journalist and documentary filmmaker, and we were the first ever to be allowed to shoot with the camera! For us it was the 'opportunity to interview several of these characters learning a lot about their culture semi-unknown. The documentary was broadcast on Rai Uno ssere but then they made the choice to transmit one of the castles in Austria because the more glossy and in line with the editorial line of the transmission! A month later came a troup of National Geographic ........
It 's amazing that they wanted to lose' occasion, for once, be the first!
Every time I think about it again .... incavolo
For the record, after little more than a week of filming the crew was away from the country because of internal tensions too dangerous .....
