@Fabio: i colori di questa foto sono quelli catturati dal sensore IR. In PP ho solo caricato il profilo colore che mi sono creato per la macchina: serve per il bilanciamento del bianco in quanto la gamma che trovi in qualsiasi programma di PP è fatta solo per le radiazioni visibili e non comprende lo spettro IR, rendendo imperfetto o impossibile il bilanciamento.
In questo particolare (preso da un altro scatto senza profilo colore e PP) è ben visibile come compare lo scatto senza applicare il giusto profilo per la macchina fotografica IR (e conseguiente bilanciamento del bianco, è più difficile a dirsi che a farsi).
Si vede anche la particolarità di irradiazione della luce IR.





La particolarità di irradiazione a volte crea degli hot spot centrali che possono essere sgradevoli o particolari a secondo di come sono gestiti, altre volte anche questo effetto riflettente che a me piace (convertita in BW):

grazie per la precisazione; infatti mi aspettavo un'immagine 'quasi' monocromatica, non del tutto perché il filtro dovrebbe essere passa banda lasciando intravedere colore residuo, non tagliato. Per i corpi con emissione propria, in questo caso specifico la fiamma, il colore è il risultato delle bande di emissione di gas biatomici e triatomici, e di particolato solido ad alta temperatura che invece segue la nota legge dei corpi neri (grigi in verità), il tutto risultando nel caratteristico spettro di emissione continuo o quasi, 'visibile' e non; più semplicemente nel colore del fronte di fiamma che delimita la zona di ossidazione da quella in cui la reazione non è avvenuta.

Ma è interessantissimo notare cosa rimane tagliando gran parte del colore e pescando nel vicino IR, ove il corpo di fiamma rimane intensissimo, si nota molto meglio, a mio avviso, la zona 'calda'. Un sapiente bilanciamento ha poi reso del tutto naturale l'immagine finale.
