Looking at the HD it seems to me that it is well sharpened on the wing panel and tail, slightly softer on the head and eye but this is normal because I imagine it was very close and with F9 on a focal length of 600 mm it is easy to lose sharpness, it would be very nice to see the focal length 600 mm at work with subjects in flight
