La tecnica della sedia vuota viene utilizzata alcune volte in psicoterapia, per l'elaborazione del lutto. Lo psicoterapeuta in questa situazione, può avere un contatto con il paziente per fornire conforto. Il paziente immaginerà sulla sedia la persona scomparsa e farà a questa delle domande alle quali vorrebbe avere risposta, dopo sarà lui a sedere su quella sedia e impersonando la persona in questione, immaginerà cosa questi avrebbe voluto chiedergli. Una fotografia richiesta da un gruppo di studio in psicologia, spero di essermi espresso correttamente, se ho scritto cose errate sono pronto a correggerle. Tecnica utilizzata, lunga esposizione, due flash con griglia su seconda tendina, light painting (la sedia è stata colorata in post non avendo a disposizione un drappo rosso)
