06.08.2023 La ricerca è durata 3 giorni, mai era stata così lunga...nessun predatore era stato avvistato prima nel Kafue N.P., la loro presenza si percepiva, ma in questo Parco sembra di vivere un'Africa 'diversa', estremamente selvaggia ed estremamente poco turistica. Stavamo rientrando verso HyppoBay Camping, dal Lake Nanzhila quando ad un tratto eccoli, due giovani fratelli che nell'erba alta per un attimo hanno concesso la loro presenza. Abbiamo atteso qualche minuto, la luce ormai aveva lasciato spazio al nero della notte africana. Un'immagine intensa con un predatore ancora poco abituato alla presenza umana.
