Come lo scorso anno, stavo in pensiero perché il branco all'improvviso aveva ricambiato drasticamente abitudini. Ero sicuro che non sarebbero mancati i futuri eredi della famiglia, ma volevo le prove, perché stavolta le tracce lasciate nei punti di marcatura abituali erano quasi inesistenti. Temevo si fossero spostati in versanti più esposti a cacciatori e purtroppo bracconieri occasionali, ma per fortuna due giorni fa, lui e i suoi 5 fratellini hanno fatto capolino dai pruni con prudenza, ed appena si sono assicurati di non avere disturbi nelle vicinanze hanno iniziato a giocare per un bel po'. Salti e morsi fraterni in continuo senza curarsi di niente, fino a quando tra una capriola e l'altra mi sono arrivati davanti fissandomi e cercando di capire cosa fosse quell'enorme buco nero della lente dentro a quel cespuglio visto per la prima volta, fino a proseguire, ritornando nel bosco. Il branco va avanti e tolto qualche fratellone andato in dispersione per cercare la compagna della vita, all'appello della famiglia non manca nessuno. Gli animali andrebbero studiati ed osservati il più possibile secondo me, indirettamente insegnano molto più di quanto si possa arrivare a pensare. Cuccioli 2023
