Finalmente sono riuscito a realizzare questa foto che avevo in mente e che programmavo da anni. Ogni volta, grazie alla mia nota velocità, le balle venivano spostate. Quest'anno le ho beccate un giorno prima che venissero portate via ed ho realizzato questo bellissimo star trail di 4 ore, mentre nel frattempo mi godevo il cielo stellato. Ho cercato di mettere in relazione le forme concentriche generate dal movimento della Terra, che crea le strisciate (trail) delle stelle nelle foto e la stessa forma delle rotoballe. Un gioco di forme geometriche che si completa con le linee verticali sul terreno, che conducono il nostro sguardo proprio verso la stella polare, centro dello star trail. Se cerchi e linee sembrano danzare insieme, l'aspetto del tempo è invece messo in completa opposizione. Se l'Universo e il cielo è in continuo movimento ed espansione, le balle sono sinonimi di un oggetto statico, che immobile attende con pazienza di essere utilizzato dagli agricoltori nei momenti del bisogno. Quando realizzo questo genere di foto, come molti avranno già notato, è evidente che mi ispiro al maestro Van Gogh. Il cielo stellato, l'uso dei colori e l'attenzione compositiva fanno richiamo sempre alle sue opere. That the star is blurred is your choice, it is not necessary. This one I used is a long process on photoshop. In general, to mount a startrail, simply upload all the photos as layers in photoshop and change the blending mode to "lighten". This is the basic procedure ;-)
