In the dark, 600 meters in the bowels of the earth sent on July 02, 2023 (0:07) by Emmegiu. 28 comments, 760 views. [retina]

If we were only "normal" we would be unsurpassed in everything but unfortunately we Italians are not at all and those who govern us are even less, result: a corrupt and corroded country to the core, where scenes and situations like the one you described do not worry anyone but those directly concerned who are left alone or, at best, blanded by jackals who think only of their dirty advantage :-( :-(
Returning to photography you took a great shot, of great emotional impact, congratulations dear Giuseppe, hello.

the helmets that today we no longer know how to wear, because we do not even know what and where the real battle is!

A portrait of strong emotional impact: faces marked by a very hard work of men who defend it with dignity and pride. They deserve respect and protection.
Congratulations, Giuseppe!

An image that well represents the hardness of the work and the stubbornness of the workers, forged by years of hard work. I personally worked at Silius as an external company several years ago. My memory is of a cordial environment among the workers, and of great understanding among them. I hope that this resource will not be lost as well, and I hope that it will be resolved for the best. Very good as always Giuseppe in telling with images, touching and representative. Greetings

A situation already experienced 35 years ago, I could write a book about the indifference of a people to its destiny, on the reassurances of a policy of the worst of the class when it goes well, on the control of weak minds through distorted and questionable principles of freedom, but also of workers who do not know how to see beyond their own 'garden' and Sunday entrepreneurs.
I'll stop here and limit myself to:
Is it possible that no one has seen the movie 'thank you Mrs Thatcher?'

Touching and representative image of a very hard work. Very good as always Giuseppe to propose with images and stories these slices of everyday life. Many compliments.
Tantos saludos ;-)

Of great impact, perfect for documenting a struggle of civilization, without work you do not live. Very good Joseph!

The darkness of the mine. The darkness of a future that remains uncertain. A faint ghostly light illuminates a part of the miners' faces and reveals their dark and motionless eyes, which speak more than a thousand words.
There could not be a more striking contrast with the paradisiacal image of Sardinia that is conveyed.
Dramatically opposed realities.
As a document or denunciation photography has, in my opinion, a force that the written word does not have. It is more direct and immediate. It reaches without needing to be explained.
Beautiful and effective work, Giuseppe.
A hug to you and your Sardigna.
Susy
