Mentre frugavo nel mio “cassetto dei ricordi” ho trovato due vecchie stampe con le scritte in inglese, l'autore non era indicato, incuriosito dal sapere chi era il fotografo, la ragazza della foto chiaramente era molto nota, dopo una ricerca su internet ho rintracciato gli autori e così ho scoperto la prima storia che vi racconto perché mi sembra interessante. La foto è di André De Dienes (18 dicembre 1913 – 11 aprile 1985) un fotografo di bellezze femminili e nudi artistici, pare il più celebre del dopoguerra, molte foto da lui scattate apparvero su celebri riviste dell'epoca come Esquire, io ho fotografato una vecchia immagine che conservo gelosamente, da più di 40 anni. Nato nel 1913 in Ungheria, macchinista di operette a Budapest, dopo il suicidio di sua madre, lasciò la sua patria all'età di 15 anni e viaggiò attraverso l'Europa, per lo più a piedi, fino a quando si stabilì in Tunisia, dove lavorò in vari lavori saltuari, imparò a dipingere e acquistò la sua prima macchina fotografica, una retina 35 mm. Nel 1933 si trasferisce a Parigi per studiare arte e acquista la sua prima macchina fotografica Rolleiflex.
