Il cimitero di guerra inglese (in realtà ci sono militari di tutto il Commonwealth) contiene le spoglie di 945 soldati morti durante la campagna di liberazione dell'Italia dai tedeschi e dai fascisti, nella zona di Assisi, nei mesi di giugno e luglio 1944 durante il tentativo di controffensiva tedesca dopo la liberazione di Roma. Si trova accanto al santuario francescano di Rivotorto di Assisi.
