Vive in America centrale e meridionale. E' una farfalle gregaria che di notte si riunisce in gruppo per riposare. Durante il giorno, una farfalla guida le altre sempre sugli stessi fiori delle stesse piante: come un postino che consegna la posta sempre nelle stesse case delle stesse vie. Questa farfalla è velenosa per gli uccelli predatori; essa, infatti, mangia piante venefiche quando è bruco e, conseguentemente, la sostanza tossica rimane nel suo corpo quando è adulta. I colori sgargianti delle ali aiutano gli uccelli a non mangiarla. “Ripreso in ambiente controllato”

These specimens are always on the move and, when I found myself, they were very restless! Lengthening the exposure time in favor of a more closed aperture in the circumstance, led to an unacceptable 'move'. Obviously, I don't think about using a tripod or even focusing stacking!
