I, too, have always considered animals to be very intelligent and similar to us.
The first thing I do when I shoot my macros is to get closer and let the animals know that they are not a threat.
Before photographing them, I am interested in having close contact with them.
I stay for many minutes to observe them without moving, they understand it and after a moment of uncertainty they approach to observe me and many times they even let themselves be touched.
A particular behavior that always leaves me amazed.
Now very rarely an animal runs away when it sees me. In the places I frequent every day many species are used to my presence.
Obviously in avifauna close contact is not possible, but this experience of mine serves to make it clear that even animals somehow understand us.

Anche io ho sempre ritenuto gli animali molto intelligenti e simili a noi.
La prima cosa che faccio quando scatto le mie macro è avvicinarmi e fargli capire che non sono una minaccia.
Prima di fotografarli mi interessa avere un contatto ravvicinato con loro.
Resto per molti minuti ad osservarli senza muovermi, loro lo capiscono e dopo un attimo di incertezza si avvicinano per osservarmi e tante volte si fanno anche toccare.
Un comportamento particolare che mi lascia sempre stupito.
Ormai molto raramente un animale scappa quando mi vede. Nei posti che frequento tutti i giorni molte specie sono abituate alla mia presenza.
Ovviamente in avifauna non è possibile il contatto ravvicinato, ma questa mia esperienza serve a far capire che anche gli animali in qualche modo ci capiscono.
