Le Pleiadi (conosciute anche come le Sette sorelle) sono un ammasso aperto visibile nella Costellazione del Toro. Questo ammasso conta diverse stelle visibili a occhio nudo che sono circondate da leggere nebulose a riflessione (visibili solamente con lunghe esposizioni). In una fredda serata di gennaio, con vento di 20km/h e picchi di 30km/h, con luna assente, in un cielo bortle classificato tra 4 e 5, assieme ad un mio amico astrofilo, il quale mi ha gentilmente prestato la sua montatura equatoriale, ho ottenuto questa immagine sommando 18 minuti di fotografia in più scatti. Nonostante l'enorme vento a nostro svantaggio. la montatura ha retto abbastanza bene, anche se per peggioramento meteo poi purtroppo ci siamo dovuti fermare. Come primo risultato mi posso ritenere più che soddisfatto dell'immagine uscita dall'allineamento in DSS (deep sky stacker), considerato il meteo e soprattutto per via dell'utilizzo di una camera non modificata per astro e di un normale teleobbiettivo. Elaborazione dopo l'allineamento, fatta tramite lightroom. Non sono stati effettuati frame di calibrazioni come dark, flat e bias ma soltanto lights.
