Against all wars! sent on May 11, 2023 (0:38) by Pinitti. 84 comments, 1809 views. [retina]

Document that attests that war is never a good solution to disputes.
The cost, even of a single human life, is always too high.
Congratulations on an image that speaks for itself.

War brings death and disaster, it is never a solution to problems.
An evocative image, congratulations Pinitti.

Thanks Pinitti for this page of history, unfortunately man has not changed "You are still the one of the stone and the slingshot" is faced as at the time of the caves in the trenches still today with bloody ferocity because it is in his DNA the cruelty the lust for power and oppression, of this Sardinian Army (from the kingdom of Sardinia) I want to remember the many Sardinian dead who have never returned home (our homeland is the Sardinia) quoting the writer Adriano Vargiu who speaking of this battle wrote "many Sardinian surnames in the slabs of the ossuaries. The list of fallen Sardinians is too long". And he quotes the poet writer Francesco Masala "The Sardinian bad bandits in peacetime, but good heroes in time of war".
Smart proposal as your usual, saludos, giuseppe

Image appeased and, alas, terribly current. The caption could fit many, more recent, situations in this wretched world of ours. :-(
However fierce the wars of yesteryear, however, it was the armies that faced each other on the battlefields. Then, with a tragic change of pace, to fight them were entire peoples, hurled against each other, and victims, with unimaginable numbers that technological "progress" has made possible, civilians. :-(
Joseph is right. The man remained the one "of the stone and the slingshot"... :-(
