, 1/80 f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod. Specie: Pieris edusa

An excellent result with a remarkable detail on the subject, accompanied by a soft and pleasantly colored background. As a suggestion, being a stacking, for the next occasions my advice is to work on a more open aperture: in fact, with stacking you have no problems in terms of depth of field and at more open apertures you make the lens work where it has its maximum yield in terms of image quality.

Looking at the high resolution I would say that the subject turns out to be very sharp.
The result obtained in the background is also pleasant.
In short, congratulations for your great work.
Since you took single shots of the same subject, can you cite the result compared to the fs?

@Nicola:Thanks for the
ride and especially for the suggestion. I'm at the first tests with the Fs in the room, it's not a technique that drives me crazy but you have to experiment.

@Pigi:
Thanks for the compliments.
I try to answer your question... In this specific case I took single shots at F11, F13, F16 in the same position. Compared to the stack on the head and wings there is perhaps a bit less detail, on the roost and antennae the stack wins. I believe that on a subject like a butterfly profile with closed wings with a perfect parallelism it is not worth it. I add that personally gives me more joy and satisfaction the single shot. As soon as I have a moment I add in the gallery also the single shot so you can evaluate the differences.

And 'valuable this your proposal, congratulations!
If anything I suggest on tiptoe to leave less space behind and add it in front of the subject, hello
