Una ricorrenza quella del 25 aprile che ci ricorda un giorno fondamentale per la storia d'Italia, come simbolo della Resistenza, cioè della lotta condotta dai partigiani a partire dall'8 settembre 1943. Purtroppo in molti non hanno potuto mai gioire per il giorno della Liberazione, Loro, morti in battaglia, trucidati in eccidi e rappresaglie nazifascista, assieme alla popolazione, come a Vallucciole in Casentino. Per questo voglio dedicare a Loro questo ricordo del 13 aprile 2019 svoltosi a Molin di Bucchio ad una decina di km da Vallucciole, una giornata che anticipava con commozione e ricordo l'imminente data della Liberazione.

La bandiera dell'ANPI di Foiano della Chiana "Licio Nencetti" portata nel terrazzo assieme all'ANPI del Casentino.

Vallucciole è una frazione del comune di Pratovecchio Stia, in provincia di Arezzo. È tristemente nota per l'eccidio di Vallucciole, strage nazifascista consumatasi il 13 aprile 1944.
All'alba del 13 aprile 1944 il borgo fu vittima di un terribile attacco da parte delle forze nazifasciste che si ponevano l'obiettivo di frenare il movimento partigiano che proteggeva la zona. Il paese venne quasi completamente raso al suolo e le vittime, fra le quali donne, bambini e anziani, furono complessivamente 108.

Nel 1984 il Presidente della Repubblica Sandro Pertini consegnò la Medaglia d'Oro al Valore Militare al Gonfalone della Provincia di Arezzo, decorati al Valor Civile i Comuni di Bucine, Civitella in Val di Chiana e Pratovecchio-Stia e quelli decorati al Merito Civile quelli di Arezzo e Castiglion Fiorentino

Vi ringrazio di cuore per la partecipazione della ricorrenza della Liberazione, queste immagini sono frutto della giornata dedicata alla strage di Vallucciole, in quel pomeriggio furono ricordati i tragici fatti e parteciparono le sezioni ANPI della provincia di Arezzo e della Romagna. Il presidente della sezione ANPI di Arezzo era il ragazzo con il fazzoletto al collo, all'epoca aveva 29 anni, come vedete ancora qualche giovane é impegnato seriamente e dalla fotografia si nota il suo carisma, la gente lo ascoltava con interesse nell'esposizione dei fatti di quel giorno, ricordare per non dimenticare.
