Probabilmente si tratta di Brachymeria sp. Un genere di vespe parassite della famiglia Chalcididae. In tutto il mondo sono conosciute oltre 300 specie, tutte parassite di pupe di insetti. La maggior parte delle specie sono nere con segni gialli e, come la maggior parte delle vespe calcidide, hanno femori posteriori allargati. La femmina tipicamente depone le uova all'interno delle pupe di un lepidottero usando il suo ovopositore. Anche se per lo più parassiti sui lepidotteri, alcuni sono iperparassiti (parassiti di imenotteri e ditteri che a loro volta sono parassiti) o attaccano altri tipi di larve di insetti. Gli adulti emergono poi dalla pupa ospite. Alcune specie sono state utilizzate nel controllo biologico (Fonte Wikipedia).
