Nel 1854 viene costituita la Società Toscana d'Orticultura. Le prime piante madri furono donate da illustri orticoltori e agronomi toscani, dal Museo di Fisica e Storia Naturale e dal Giardino dei Semplici di Firenze. Nella seconda metà dell'Ottocento il giardino si ingrandisce e Giacomo Roster progetta il grande tepidario, inaugurato nel 1880. Se nel precedente reportage mi ero divertito con i viraggio vintage, qui ho giocato con il Sammy 12mm fisheye.
