Ecco a tutti voi la PARNASSIUS APOLLO SICILIAE, endemica del Parco Delle Madonie. Un relitto dell'Era Glaciale, sopravvissuta rifugiandosi nelle catene montuose più alte. Inserita nella lista delle farfalle più rare del mondo. É protetta ed é vietato catturarla. Una sua particolarità, é il rumore che emette quando sbatte le ali, inoltre come potete ben vedere la macchia rossa a forma di occhio che ornano le ali, serve per allontanare gli eventuali predatori, come gli uccelli. Mi ha fatto faticare molto, ma ci sono riuscito a fotografarla e a studiare i suoi comportamenti.
