“Eccoli! Sono loro”, mi viene da pensare quando vedo questi tre elefanti sbucare dal folto della vegetazione e venire verso di me. In realtà, si stanno dirigendo, per abbeverarsi, verso la pozza nei pressi della quale mi sono posizionata… Ma mi piace pensare che siano gli stessi che avevo fotografato in un'altra circostanza, nello stesso posto, e che ci siamo dati un appuntamento. Allora le piogge erano già arrivate. Tutto era verde e la vegetazione lussureggiante. Potete vedere la foto di allora, a cui avevo dato lo stesso titolo, in uno scenario molto diverso, nella galleria “Tarangire rain season”. Questa volta le piogge sono in ritardo di settimane, l'erba è secca e gialla e la marcia per raggiungere l'acqua può essere molto lunga.
