One of the most beautiful areas of the summer sky, from the constellation Scorpius and Ophiuchus, full of dust with the most varied colors. Are 21 poses of 8 minutes at ISO 1600 with the Canon 60D FSQ106ED cooled and reduced to f3.6.
A little 'too much noise this, I avoided a denoise pushed too that made it too "soft" powders that are the main subject of the photo. I tried to emphasize the various shades present, from orange to red to blue, in addition to the haziness obscure.
I also applied a deconvolution to the stars to try to preserve the detail in the two globular clusters (M4 and NGC 6144).

I knew that Takahashi are monsters in terms of brightness and yield, but you have been able to pull off an image very nice indeed with a sensor Digic, okay okay, cool! Definitely very beautiful poses and how many minutes of exposure did you do? A curiosity '... that frame do you use?

Grazie a tutti!

Grazie ancora a Marcok, Edoardo.c, Canopo70, Beppe Reda, Fotomistico, Roberto Paneroni, Alberto Gizzi Panizza e Paolo555SorrisoSorrisoSorriso

Thank you all! The astronomical photos are always of great visual impact, but looking at the pictures in the other sections of the forum I realize how many difficulties there are in each discipline, and all in all astrophotography is perhaps the easiest:-D:-D:-D :-D

@ Paolo555: the Takahashi are undoubtedly among the best instruments for astrophotography (speaking of refractors). Even the Borg are great (for example lenses of Borg 71 Fluorite are produced by Canon Optron). Today there are also many Chinese very well corrected refractors, but they all work to openings around f / 5.
The frame I use is a skywatcher EQ6, perfect for FSQ106ED. For this picture I made 21 exposures of 8 minutes at ISO 1600.

Thanks again to Marcok, Edoardo.c, Canopo70, Beppe Reda, Fotomistico, RoPaneroni Alberto, Alberto Gizzi Pabuon and Paolo555 :-) :-) :-)

Finally I see her with a high resolution.

Good result for a subject that in our latitudes is not easy to shoot.

Great er Todini!

Davide

Not bad, there is a lot of signal wow! ! In addition, this object is very difficult to recover from Italy.
As for the colors I prefer, however, that of Stephen

:-(
A greeting and next Saturday if the weather is clement also I'll try to Saint-Barthélemy or from Passo del Mortirolo ... :-/

Un pelo granulosa, ma fantastica! Complimenti!

ciao!

Chiara

A hair gritty, but fantastic! Congratulations!

next Saturday if the weather is clement

I know that this w and the weather does not cooperate :-( When you go to St Barthelemy, where you affixed? I have been there once and close the observatory you could not stand because they were doing construction, we found a nice pitch few bends further up. He's almost-almost like coming to give us a jump, but the we of 13.

hello!

Chiara

Ciao Chiara,

Davide

Hello Clare,
I was also once in St Barthelemy and I mounted my telescope here

. The next weekend (11-12/05), however, thought to be the plots of the Observatory. They cost a lot but since this time it's just me and my girlfriend, and she goes to bed at night :-( half, the pitches would enable it to reach the hostel on foot ;-).
If you're on in those days let me know, maybe we'll see!
All the best,
David

Bella foto, bel posto!

Beautiful pictures, beautiful place! If the weather cooperates this we would be tempted to make a night at the lip, another mystic place .....
