Ieri dopo 4 mesi di tribolazioni cercando di fotografare il Martin Pescatore, ho deciso di arrendermi, non sarei mai riuscito a fotografarlo da vicino. Soprattutto dopo che, arrivato al punto di osservazione in cui avevo messo i posatoi, notavo che gli stessi erano caduti in acqua per via delle piogge e del vento dei giorni scorsi. Così decido di tornare a casa, quando mi chiama mia moglie dicendo che nostro figlio dormiva dai nonni e sarei dovuto andare a prenderlo dopo qualche ora. Decido allora di dirigermi verso un canale lungo il quale avevo osservato alcuni martini il mese precedente, ma senza successo nel fotografarli. Mi avvicino al canale, giusto per dare un'occhiata e vedo 3 martini in 3 diversi posatoi entro 500m di distanza. Metto la gillie, mi avvicino ad un posatoio e resto appostato per circa un'ora. Niente. Mi avvicino allora ad un altro posatoio e dopo pochi minuti eccolo che arriva, ma la mia posizione non mi permetteva di avere uno sfondo decente. Noto però che la martina si era posata su un palo di metallo poco distante da me. Sono così andato a 2 metri da quel palo, buttato in mezzo all'erba e ho aspettato per pochi minuti. E finalmente eccola qui. Raramente sono stato così contento per una foto, anche se la luce non era delle migliori e il dettaglio si può migliorare, però ne sono contentissimo :)
