Da veramente il senso di come e di cosa questa specie, con adattamento spinto, si nutre. Immagino quel lungo becco che fruga instancabile nelle fessure, chissà se li vede o solo li sente le prede, grande documento

X Sigismondi, ho avuto la fortuna, nei mesi invernali, di seguire per un bel pò di tempo e a distanza ravvicinata, un picchio muraiolo intento alla ricerca di cibo. E' stato straordinario osservare come con il becco strappava le ragnatele presenti sotto la volta rocciosa e una volta aperte come si fermava ad ascoltare per poi ghermire con il becco la preda che tentava di fuggire. Ho anche un piccolo filmatino fatto con la reflex mentre caccia in questa maniera. Ciao
