Specie: Convolvulus silvaticus - Calystegia silvatica Nome volgare: Vilucchio maggiore Famiglia: CONVOLVULACEAE Habitat: siepi, incolti, boscaglie Fioritura: da Maggio a Ottobre Colore del fiore: bianco Pianta erbacea rampicante che può raggiungere la lunghezza di 1,5 m. Come la "sorella minore" Convolvulus sepium, alla quale assomiglia molto, si avvinghia ad ogni sostegno che trova formando fitte siepi. Rilevata prevalentemente nella zona sud del Parco, ama crescere negli incolti. I fusti sono volubili e striati. Le foglie sono provviste di un lungo picciolo ed hanno la lamina astata, lunga fino a 12 cm, con una profonda insenatura alla base ed apice acuto. I fiori sono bianchi, grandi (6-7 cm di diametro), campanulati e imbutiformi; crescono isolati su lunghi peduncoli. Ciò che differenzia questa specie da Convolvulus sepium sono le brattee che rivestono il calice: esse sono infatti un po' rigonfie e lo avvolgono completamente. Il frutto è una capsula.
