Glacier des Bossons (Monte Bianco) 1981 / Scatto su vecchia pellicola diapositiva / Fotocamera Olympus OM-1 / Obiettivo 85 mm F/2 / Nota: il Glacier de Bossons negli anni '80 del secolo scorso era considerato il ghiacciaio con fronte terminale più bassa delle Alpi - e ancora lo è – avendo allora toccato i circa 1200 m nella parte di valle sotto la spinta delle enormi masse glaciali che premevano in scivolamento da monte. Questo scatto è del settembre 1981 quando il ghiacciaio era in fase di espansione. Ricordo ancora la meraviglia nello scoprire, improvvisamente, questo enorme “drago” che penetrava nella foresta, quasi debordando dai suoi limiti morenici laterali. Ricordo anche la sua lingua in avanzata il cui movimento era percettibile attraverso lo spostamento continuo, in centimetri, di ghiaie e pietre che si trovavano sul suo percorso.
