For high-magnification macros, flashes with low-power flashes are sufficient. I
was at a very short distance and I placed the 3 flashes on 3 small tripods and I channeled the light all to the center of the flower with special diffusers that I built. In this case, at close distances and with very concentrated light, little power is needed. Continuous light spotlights, on the other hand, are much less powerful and I only use them during the day to balance the exposure. As you can see I do everything in the field, in post production I do very little.
I use the godox mf12 designed specifically for macros that also have a continuous led guide light to focus. What for me is very useful at night but also during the day.
Before the mf12 I used normal slide flashes and for focusing I had to use a led light, so the process was much more cumbersome.

Per le macro ad alto ingrandimento bastano i flash con lampi a poca potenza.
Ero a una distanza molto ridotta, ho posizionato i 3 flash su 3 piccoli treppiedi e ho convogliato la luce tutta al centro del fiore con dei particolari diffusori che ho costruito. In questo caso a distanze ravvicinate e con luce molto concentrata serve poca potenza. I faretti a luce continua invece sono molto meno potenti e li uso solo di giorno per equilibrare l'esposizione. Come vedi faccio tutto sul campo, in post produzione faccio molto poco.
Uso i godox mf12 ideati appositamente per le macro, hanno anche una luce guida continua a led per mettere a fuoco, cosa per me utilissima si di notte che di giorno.
Prima degli mf12 usavo dei normali flash a slitta e per la messa a fuoco dovevo usare una luce led, quindi il processo era molto più macchinoso.
