Erithacus rubecula (Pettirosso) La leggenda narra che il piccolo uccellino vide in volo Gesù crocefisso e, mosso a pietà dal dolore di quest'uomo, si avvicinò. Addolorato per le spine della corona che trafiggevano il capo di Gesù, pensò di toglierle una ad una con il suo becco; togliendo l'ultima spina una goccia di sangue spillò e fini sul suo petto e, da allora, ogni suo discendente nacque con il petto macchiato di rosso. Torna sempre in autunno con i suoi colori caldi, la maggior parte arriva da lontano, ma alcuni vivono da noi tutto l'anno, spostandosi, in collina e montagna dove è più fresca l'estate e tornando in pianura per portarci la neve. #StorieDiPiume
