La luna piena o detta anche plenilunio, é una fase del ciclo lunare in cui il nostro satellite risulta completamente illuminato dal sole, se osservato dalla Terra. Si tratta quindi di un fenomeno astronomico, dovuto alla posizione relativa della stessa Luna in relazione al sole e alla Terra.
