Nella tenuta storica de Conti De La Tour alla morte del marito Theodor nel 1894, la contessa Elvine, fa erigere un mausoleo in cima alla collina che domina la proprietà. Qui hanno riposato le spoglie del conte fino alla fine della prima guerra mondiale, per poi essere traslate, accanto alla contessa Elvine, nel parco della villa patrizia di Treffen, in Carinzia. Il mausoleo è ricordato anche come Cappella di san Giuseppe perché, fino al 1927, vi si poteva ammirare una pregevole statua in marmo raffigurante san Giuseppe di Bertel Thorvaldsen, allievo di Canova.
