Dal 2019 ho avviato un progetto fotografico molto particolare, ovverosia fotografare i funghi in studio. Al tempo fu una scelta anticonvenzionale, il motivo è che il fungo nel bosco, che magari può essere un ottimo esercizio fotografico, è un tipo di fotografia che possiamo benissimo fare anche con lo smartphone un po' evoluto; di solito, sfumando lo sfondo.
Ho raccolto una certa quantità di funghi in questi tre anni ma, ovviamente, per un brevissimo lasso di tempo data la relativa fugacità del momento. Quest'anno sono stato un po' più assiduo, anche nel fotografarli, poiché sia nel 2019 che nel 2020 non sono stato molto attivo, visto che ne ho raccolte due o tre specie. Poi - le fasi successive: portarli in studio cercando di rovinarli il meno possibile, lasciando le loro barbe, anche a testimoniare del loro essere effimeri, della loro brevissima vita al di fuori del loro ambiente.
Visto che nel 2021 e quest'anno ne ho fatta una buona scorta (il difficile però la preparazione anticipata del set, le variazioni di luce in base al soggetto e il modo di sospenderli), la mia volontà è quella di farne una compo in grande formato sulla scia delle bellissime immagini di Mocafico in "Blashka".
Per le riprese, ho normalmente utilizzato due o tre mezze torce da 600 w/s e vari pannellini, insieme a uno specchio concavo in alluminio.
Non è stato un lavoro facile. Qui e presento una, dell'anno scorso, che a fine sessione, mi è piaciuta molto.
Il Gymnophilus Ventricosus, fungo piuttosto raro dalle nostre parti. E anche tossico (se qualcuno considera i funghi solo sotto l'aspetto culinario).
