Non è priva di difetti e qualcuno può trovarla stonata nel contesto, ma non poteva certo scimmiottare uno dei vecchi ponti di Venezia. Ha avuto e credo continui ad avere problemi di spinta eccessiva sulle sponde che collega, a causa del suo arco ribassato e della natura particolare dei terreni lagunari, ma non si può negarne la bellezza strutturale, apprezzabile soprattutto osservando le costolature dell'arco, e la leggerezza e lo slancio con cui supera la non poca distanza tra le due sponde. |
