Remember the old postcards... sent on October 06, 2022 (17:50) by Giordano Giacomo. 68 comments, 884 views. [retina]

f/7.1, ISO 100,

#borghi #mare #borghiItalia #arcobaleno

I gladly open the thread as they would say those good if not very good
Beautiful remember effect on the world of postcards that you did re-live in the photo and especially in the caption in which I found myself immersed in full.
Good dinner Dear.

In my opinion they were of greater value. It was necessary to "think" of someone, spend a few pennies on a postcard and stamp, write the address and a greeting, post .... (and light a candle hoping it would come). The phone... I haven't used it for a few years.
A cordial greeting.
Paul

... good memories, it's true!
A completely different way of transmitting to friends and relatives the beauty of the place you went to visit comes to mind.
Congratulations, hello, Alessandro

Beautiful collage of beautiful sites.
Nostalgic reflection on the passing of time,
and dear memories of precious postcards, desired, awaited, sent, jealously preserved and collected.
The postcard was a "tangible" greeting.
Oh yes, time has passed, and postcards have become vintage, rarities ;-)
Your photo is like a blast from the past...

Four beautiful postcards of the Cinque Terre.
It was another world, not much time has passed but it seems like centuries.
It remains a nostalgic melancholy for those good times.
Congratulations Giacomo for the pleasant memory.

Your postcards are beautiful, colorful and well composed!
But I confess that I have always hated writing postcards :-D and many times I brought them home without sending them!
Buying them was easy, finding stamps sometimes complicated, the letterbox a treasure hunt! :-P
Many greetings! :-)

The postcards were beautiful, but I bought them reluctantly both for the difficulties already highlighted by Marisa, and because the colors were too often unnatural.
It came naturally to me to compare the image of Riomaggiore with mine recently published: how many differences over time! In particular the pink house on the left, (I remember by heart ;-) ), but also many others that have recovered enamel after the restoration.
Congratulations for the excellent proposal!

You're right, in those days the holiday began even before leaving, with the thought of postcards ........... a whole other flavor.
You did not have time to arrive that you immediately ran to buy them.
Fulfillments for the excellent idea that made us relive moments of the past.
Greetings
Mario ;-)

The period when I enjoyed postcards the most was during my military service.
There, really, receiving
a postcard changed your day.
Apart from that, beautiful photos, congratulations.
