É l'antica San Salvatore che i Frati Minori Osservanti ottennero nel 1519, trasferendovisi dal loro convento extraurbano di San Lazzaro. La vasta navata, consacrata nel 1557, ha purtroppo subito un completo rinnovamento nel biennio 1706-1708 e a questo periodo risalgono gli otto grandi altari laterali dipinti a finti marmi. Segnalo le splendide pale raffiguranti una Visitazione di Giovanni Santi (1490), ritenuta una delle più belle opere della maturità del padre di Raffaello, poi una Annunciazione di Pietro Vannucci detto Perugino (1488), databili entrambe al 1488-1490 e infine la pala con la Madonna in trono con il Bambino e Santi, opera del Perugino e datata 1497, sormontata da una lunetta raffigurante la Pietà.
