Uno degli storici tracciati sulle mura del borgo, la via di Ronda rappresentava un antico percorso a nord delle mura di Anghiari. Grazie anche a consolidamenti successivi alla sua costruzione, è stata capace di rendere la cinta muraria inespugnabile e ha costituito una solida difesa da ogni tipo di artiglieria. La via oggi passa in quello che era il monastero cinquecentesco di Sant'Agostino, che infatti si regge proprio sulle mura, rese più solide da contrafforti. Le origini della Chiesa sono del 1100, anche se ha subito ripetute trasformazioni. Con molta probabilità a fondarla furono gli ospitalieri di Sant'Antonio Abate, legati all'Arcivescovo di Canterbury Thomas Becket, passato da Anghiari nel 1162. Si distingue all'interno per alcuni stucchi della metà del XVIII secolo e una terracotta policroma dei Santi Buglioni.

Curioso è il torrione semicircolare del 1463, in cui oggi è possibile entrare per calarsi fino ai piedi della cinta muraria di cui fa parte. Qui in versione bianco e nero.

Interno del camminamento di ronda, con Samyang 12mm fisheye

Proprio al di sopra del basamento di questa torre venne realizzato l'abside. L'alta struttura, ben visibile sopra le mura, è stata destinata per un periodo a granaio, in quanto dall'Ottocento, il convento fu soppresso e trasformato in fattoria.
Sotto camminamentio interno.

Una particolarità: dall'esterno della fortificazione si possono osservare ancora i merli delle antiche mura medievali, inglobati da stratificazioni successive. Vedi immagine.
