“Sono triste e preoccupato per la guerra, esco dal medico e in auto sto uscendo dal parcheggio quando provoco lo squarcio della gomma anteriore. Non sono in grado a cambiare da solo la gomma e l'assistenza meccanica della mia assicurazione rimane annientata dall'iter burocratico della digitalizzazione che ormai l'accompagna. Sono in seria difficoltà per tornare a casa .... passa un giovane che si ferma a chiedere cosa mi succede, poi intento a vedere cosa si può fare blocca l'auto di un altro ragazzo e insieme si attivano a cambiare la gomma senza remora alcuna, si danno il cambio a svitare i bulloni che fanno fatica a sbloccarsi. Al termine gli chiedo se posso dargli qualcosa, rifiuta con deciso garbo e mi dà un biglietto intestato a “punto di raccolta beni di necessità per persone senza dimora” e in fondo al biglietto è scritto “ama il tuo prossimo come te stesso” (da una lettera)
