Probabilmente hai ragione, ero molto indeciso sull'aggettivo da utilizzare, "tristezza" o "tenerezza", sicuramente gli
occhi di quell'animale aggrappato alle sbarre della gabbia sono occhi tristi, però in me, nel momento dello scatto e quando l'ho postata, ha suscitato tenerezza e malinconia.
