1978- a luglio l'innevamento è eccezionale (in quegli anni era normale) - il Gran Zebrù era caratterizzato dalla parete nord con le cornici di neve pensile- una montagna stupenda che ora non ha più - dalla etta dell'Ortles la visione è a 360 gradi- davanti a noi il Cevedale con le due vette e il gran Zebrà a destra- dietro di noi la catena delle Alpi austriache- siamo saliti in circa 25 del nostro sodalizio...bellissimi quei tempi
