Situata tra Rodi e Creta , colossi del turismo dell'Egeo , la piccola isola di Karphatos è la migliore testimonianza quello che fu lo spirito dell'arcipelago del dodecaneso fino quasi tre quarti del secolo scorso , resta ancora un piccolo paradiso , ma già rispetto a pochi lustri fa si intravvedono i mutamenti introdotti dal turismo di massa che in un periodo relativamente veloce potrebbero snaturarne l'identita e renderla un piccolo luna park come è già accaduto su tante altre isole . In questo scatto la piccola chiesetta situata nella baia di Amoopi , un'icona tipica delle isole greche che alla sola vista rallegra il turista e il viaggiatore ... , quello che ho omesso di mettere in evidenza è l'obbrobrioso edificio , adibito a bar , posizionato a meno di cinquanta metri dalla stessa , che solo un amministratore avezzo ad uno smodato uso della locale mastika poteva permettere di autorizzare ....
